RONKONKOMA, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - TThe SUNY College at Old Westbury softball team took its talent to the hardwood on October 19 to participate in the Zumbathon held at the Roseland School of Dance in Ronkonkoma, New York for the third straight year. The Zumbathon was in honor of Ms. Rose, the owner of the studio who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The event generated $1,500 which was donated to the American Cancer Society, Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk and the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer.

Samantha Siegler, and student-athletes Katie Rizzo, Nicole DeCola and Gabriella Valdes danced it up for two hours and combined with the rest of their team to raise $800.
