@OW_Panthers Cross Country, Swimming collect school supplies for Uganda students

Old Westbury’s efforts will directly impact students of the Nations’ Changers Christian School in the Mukono District of Uganda

OLD WESTBURY, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's and women's cross country and swimming teams spent the month of April collecting school supplies that will be donated to students in Uganda. 

Nations' Changers Christian School located in the Mukono District of Uganda will be the recipient of the supplies.  The school provides a different educational approach with a special emphasis on talents, religion and creating a balanced life.

The supplies will be sent with Old Westbury junior Paige Jelinek, a member of the women's basketball, who will be volunteering her summer at the Nations' Changers Christian School.  Jelinek is also sending clothing, sneakers and basketballs for the children of Uganda.
