@OW_Panthers SAAC to collect supplies for Haiti victims of Hurricane Matthew

OLD WESTBURY, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be collecting donations from November 14-16 to benefit Haiti victims of Hurricane Matthew.

SAAC is looking for items like hand sanitizer, baby blankets, baby hats and school supplies (i.e.: pencils, pens, markers, notebooks, binders, folders, etc.). If you would like to contribute, donations will be collected inside Clark Athletic Center office 102 (Nov. 14-16) between 2:30 p.m. and 3:50 p.m.

Old Westbury will transport its donations to the Skyline Conference semi-annual SAAC meeting on November 20, where all 13-member institutions will join forces for a community service event to benefit the AFYA Foundation.

AFYA aims to provide an environmentally responsible solution to the dire shortage of healthcare supplies in underserved communities globally. AFYA collects and delivers critically needed surplus medical supplies, hospital equipment, and humanitarian provisions for acute and ongoing health crises worldwide.
